Trains to southern Cambodia have begun to run again, currently offering thrice-weekly runs between Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville via Takeo and Kampot. The tracks and carriages are all new, the prices are nominal, and the ride is leisurely and unique. These are the only trains running in Cambodia and are worth a try for the locomotive experience alone.
